  1. A person named Pera was on a boat going to visit Salt Lake and saw a man drowning. She saved the man's life. Then, they got married. The US was at war and the man had to serve in the war. Five months later he was lost and no one could find him. Two months later they called off the search and had a funeral for him. On the day of the funeral the man was back. He was shot and had a knife in his stomach. They took him to the hospital. Five hours later he was dead. She was so upset of his death she stayed by his grave for the rest of her life. THE END

  3. One day 10 years ago a boy and his dog were walking through Central Park in New York City. All the sudden they heard a loud noise overhead. They looked up and saw a plane fly through the Twin Tower. The boy's dog took off running towards the building dragging the boy behind him. The dog jumped in the burning building and started saving people. He carried up to 5 people on his back at a time. He became known all around New York as "Mighty Dog!"

  4. Once upon a time there was a giant stone bird. Its name was named Cok. Cok flew around the world looking for a mate. Once he found one they had 1354 giant baby stone birds. Sadly none of them lived. Cok and his mate were so sad they also died. When theses giant stone birds die the turn into mountains! So when they all died they turned into the Rocky mountains. THE END

  5. When the pioneers moved from east to west across America, they overcame many obsticles. They encountered the wilderness, the Mississippi River, the Great Plains, the Rocky Mountains, and a barren patch of land before reaching California in the west. Survival was most difficult in the areas of mountains, rivers, and plains. The last part of the journey was the most difficult. Having overcome the difficult terrain, one large, flat, hot, and dry area was the final test before reaching California. This area was responsible for more deaths than any other obstacle. The pioneers thought they had it made, especialy after the big obstacles were overcome. We know this area now as Death Valley. To this day unsuspecting people die in Death Valley. THE END
