I think that the indigenous people are doing what is right for them. I also think they are doing the right thing with the plants so they have clean water. The only thing is that I don't think the gray water is very good for the plants. I think they should give some of the plants the clean water and leave some for them. The plants are as important to stay alive as they are. Also, I think they should try to help to keep the water clean for animals and all sorts.
ReplyDeletethe problem is people are drilling oil and the only way to do that is to bring it down and that kill the animal.
ReplyDeleteWOW!Ecuador must be in a lot of trouble because of the oil in the area.
ReplyDeleteThe indigenous people could try to negotitate with the oil compainies to leave their land.Or they could buy their land back.
ReplyDeleteI think that it is very sad that they are drilling for oil right in this beautiful Ecuador habitat!
ReplyDeleteI think the Indigenous people are doing a great job keeping the rainforest alive. i agree with Ann Ragan and think they should give the plants dirty AND clean water. That way they won't die as easily. The Indigenous people should make a compromise with the oil company, and buy the rainforest. Then the oil company wouldn't be able to tear down the rainforest.
ReplyDeleteI agree with what rashad said that indigenous people should work with differenet oil companies to somehow fix the problem with the oil.
ReplyDeleteI think that the Indigenous people are doing a great job preserving their environment. It is very smart using money from tourism to heip their community because Ecuador is such a beautiful place. I never thought a little village like that would have solar panels, septic systems, or even enough money to build a lodge for tourists. It is important that the Indigenous people work closely with the oil company, so that the oil company doesn`t tear down the rain forest in Ecuador.
ReplyDeleteI"m glad that the Indigenous people are doing a great job with the forest they should keep it pure with life not oil
DeleteThe people are doing a good job in working together to protect their environment through recycling and using solar panels for energy. They do need to put a stop to the oil drilling because it will continue to ruin their water, harm the animals, and cause health problems among the people.
ReplyDeletethey need to make a pureafirer ungroun like the would reycle not pollute
ReplyDeleteI think the problem is that the people who are living there don't have good food, water, education,or health because of the oil spill. They are doing a great job on learning how to work together and learning how to work with what they have. The animals and people are being harmed and they are doing a great job of dealing with it.
ReplyDeleteThe people are doing a good job as a team to protect all the plants and animals.I think they need to try to prevent the drilling
ReplyDeletethe people are doing a great job on protecting the plants and animals.I think they need to stop drilling in the land.
ReplyDeleteI think this proves that teamwork can help anything. Their situation is very bad but because of teamwork they are finding a way to pull though it.
ReplyDeleteThe people are doing a good job as a team to protect the plants and animals.
ReplyDeleteThey could probably ask the oil company to give land back that they have already drilled so they can re-plant their land. I do agree with Langston. with teamwork, you can do anything.
ReplyDeleteThe people should stop drilling but, still they are helping the animals well.
ReplyDeleteI think they need to stop pouring oil and cutting down trees.
ReplyDeleteI think that the indigenous people are doing the right thing by giving water to the plants and using solar panels.
ReplyDeleteit would be a good decision for them to stop drilling
